Frequently asked questions

Please read prior to contacting us.

Do I have to stay overnight on the island?

Yes, per resort policy, all wedding attendees must stay on Samal Island a minimum of (1) night.

However, you are more than welcome to stay at the private island resort for more nights before and after our special day.

When should I arrive?

Plan to arrive at Davao City no later than 9:00 am on June 26 to take the 10:00 am ferry to the island from the Pearl Farm Marina.

Where is the ceremony being held?

The ceremony will be held outdoors on the beach (weather permitting), while the reception will be held indoors.

What is the dress code?

Click here for reference photos. Dress colorfully and lightly. We would love to see our family and friends dressed to impress, but also comfortable. We suggest gentlemen wear a barong (traditional Filipino formal wear) or a casual suit, and ladies wear a Filipiniana or any length dress.

Can I bring a plus one?

Unfortunately, we are only able to accommodate guests who have been formally invited. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP.

Are children invited to the wedding?

While we adore children, we've opted for an adults-only affair to allow everyone to relax and enjoy the celebration. We hope you understand our decision and can arrange childcare for a few days. If you have any concerns or special circumstances, please don't hesitate to contact us directly to discuss further.

Do we have a gift registry?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. We have everything we need at home, and we kindly request no physical gifts. If you would like to give a gift, we would be grateful for a cash contribution towards our honeymoon and life savings. â€‹
